Here are 3 pictures from my *new* favorite photographer. I saw some of these pictures at the SF Camera Works exhibit - I think they are a little bit borderline "Urban Portraits" because there are not actually people in them, but I think a case can be made that the pictures represent the lives of people, and that the landmarks in these photos tell a story about the people that have inhabited them. That being said, what really draws me to them are the vibrant colors and almost fairy-tale like quality that they have. The photographer is Michael Rauner and these are my 3 favorites:



Here are 3 of my "urban portraits." They're not really of top quality, as I didn't have the best camera before, but I'm hoping to improve soon.

And lastly, I couldn't pick between these two pictures for my new picture. I'm still learning how to work my new camera, so I'm not uber satisfied with the way these came out.
