Is this my favorite photographer? Don't think so, but I like his work and it immediately came to mind when thinking of an iconic Urban Portraitor. 3 pics from totally different series (New Brighton, Arms Fair in Abu Dhabi, Last resort). I like his work because it is kind of in your face. His pics are easy to read, but not easy to make. His characters are quite desperate, but not hopeless. His good pictures make me wonder what the lives of these people are like.
